Easy Tile Removal
For easy tile removal, it is advisable that you remove all the trimmings that cover the tile edges. Then, remove all the grout that comes in between the ceramic tiles. If they are glued to the flooring, they will not fall off but they will become as brittle as any other piece of tile. Thus, if you take out one tile with force, you will just end up breaking more tiles.
When it comes to cleaning grout application, Home depot offers the Grout Removal Rotary Kit Tool. This Bosch grout removal kit makes tile and grout removal a lot easier.
After cleaning the grout, you can use a knife and start working on one corner of the tile going to the surface. You can then deeply insert the blade as you work along. If you are having a hard time, use a hammer to gently tap the knife and insert it towards the tile.
When you are halfway off the tile, create a gentle and upward pressure to pop the tile off the floor. You can then clean the back and the edges of the tiles, if you are planning to re-use these tiles again. Thus, if you have number of tiles that you would like to remove, you might consider renting some tile removal equipment; which are available in rental centers.
