After choosing the right linoleum for you, there are also a few tricks in installing linoleum, in wrinkle-free way. The linoleums boxes should be stored and kept unopened in the area where it needs to be installed. This will make the linoleums adjust to the room temperature.

The next step would be to prepare all the materials needed. These materials would include a hammer, a keyhole saw, an edge trimmer, a tape measure, and fitting wedges. This is along with a tapping block, wedges, a pry bar, an adjustable bevel, a pencil and an adhesive.

Hence, to achieve a perfect seam for you linoleum, you can trim the edges with an edge trimmer. The next thing to do would be to unroll the sheets on the floor. You only need to leave open about eighteen inches of the edge adhesive. This is because linoleums are known to shrink in length after adhering it to the floor.

You can then wait for about thirty minutes; to have it stabilized after you have placed the next linoleum sheet. Once you have finished installing all the linoleum sheets, you can wait for at least twenty-four hours or until the adhesive has dried. Thus, avoid putting back your things while the adhesive has not yet full dried. This will only wrinkle its upper surface.
